Slide 1

Animals are the real victims of this earth. They didn't declare war, they don't have weapons and they don't want to destroy humans or impose religion. Their only "crime" is that they exist.

-Nitesh Khare, Founder and President, SAS India

Slide 3

When humans act with cruelty we characterise them as 'animals', yet the only animal that displays cruelty is humanity.
- Sudhir Kudalkar, ACP, Anti Corruption, Mumbai Police

Love of animals is a universal impulse, a common ground on which all of us may meet. By loving and understanding animals, perhaps we humans shall come to understand each other

Why We Started SAS India?

Society for Animal Safety (SAS) India was launched by Shri Nitesh Khare in the year 2018. He is the Founder and President of this NGO which deals mainly with animal cruelty investigation and legislation. There are many organizations that work for animal feeding, rescuing, fostering and sheltering but there are very few who work to stop cruelty towards animals. SAS India developed the first online portal to register cruelty cases. The organization was started in 2 cities of Maharashtra but in a span of fewer than 2 years, it’s now functional in 6 different states.

Why We Need Your Support?

In parliamentary law to achieve SAS India vision of a world where animals are respected and protected is the vision and mission of SAS India. To bring this perspective to reality, along with handling hundreds of animal cruelty cases in a year, we have also initiated several public awareness campaigns, working to build up a rehabilitation center and launch an ambulance. In merely 2 months, we have installed 100 + feeder points in Lonawala which are taken care of by our dedicated team of volunteers. Your support is needed in all these sectors so that we can help the Government and Nation bring an end to animal suffering and cruelty.
